Boil Advisory Lifted for the St. Mary Water System

Officials from the St. Mary Water System have lifted the boil advisory issued on January 10.

Officials reported that power was lost at the plant around 11 p.m. on January 9. Power was restored three hours later. In response, officials issued a customer safety advisory regarding the system. Standard operating procedures require that water samples be collected for testing.

The water samples from the line were tested at the LA Dept. of Health Lab and returned negative.  No further action will be taken with this advisory.
