Since 2002, Parish Administrator Bill Altimus has provided solid leadership for the Bossier Parish Police Jury and its administrative team. Altimus served on the parish police jury for 13 years and that hands-on experience helped him understand the major issues facing the parish, including budget constraints and the infrastructure needs of one of the fastest growing parishes in the state.
Altimus is a member of numerous boards including the Louisiana’s Broadband for Everyone in Louisiana (BEL) Commission (appointed by the Governor), Barksdale Forward, a vice chair of the Transportation Steering Committee for the National Association of Counties and he is a member of the steering committee of the Cyber Innovation Center.
Rachel Hauser serves the team as Administrative Assistant to Altimus, a position she has held since 2015. Jessica Aldridge is assistant to Hauser and, among other duties, produces the police jury agendas for its bi-monthly meetings.
