Parkway and C.E. Byrd high schools were team champions in boys' and girls' divisions of the District 1-5A cross country meet held recently at South Bossier Park.
Following Parkway in the boys competition were runner-up Benton, third place Natchitoches Central and fourth place Captain Shreve.
Girls' team finishers behind Byrd were Benton in second, third place Parkway and fourth place Haughton,.
Boys individual, top five: Evan Johnson, Captain Shreve; Gabriel Falting, Parkway; Brody Hutchison, Benton; Dominic Helverson, Benton; Jesus Cordova, Parkway.
Girls individual, top five: Claire Allen, Benton; Isabelle Russell, Benton; Elena Heng, Airline; Laila Wells, Byrd; Cheyenne Olson, Parkway.
