Ramp and lane closures have been scheduled for the ongoing construction of the new I-20/I-220 Barksdale Air Force Base interchange access project in Bossier Parish, according to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD).

Those scheduled closures are:

• Saturday, November 20 from 6 a.m. to noon: I-20 westbound to I-220 westbound ramp will be closed.
• Saturday, November 20 at 7 a.m. until Monday, November 22 at 5 a.m.: U.S. Hwy. 80 to I-220 eastbound ramp will be closed. The outside lane of I-220 eastbound from U.S. 80 to I-20 will also be closed. The I-220 eastbound ramp to I-20 westbound ramp will be closed during this same time period.

Detour signage will be in place, and motorists are urged to proceed through the area with caution. Drivers are also asked to be aware of construction crews and heavy equipment.
