FEMA Road Work Continues

Contractors for the Bossier Parish Police Jury are continuing work on parish asphalt roads that were damaged by historic floods in 2015 and 2016. A total of 32 roads will be repaired or rebuilt using just over $30 million in funds from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Contractors for the Bossier Parish Police Jury are continuing work on parish asphalt roads that were damaged by historic floods in 2015 and 2016. A total of 32 roads will be repaired or rebuilt using just over $30 million in funds from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Work is progressing on the first group of 12 roads under Task Order 1. Contractors currently are milling to the base on Mayflower Rd. in south Bossier in preparation for a new surface. Bids have been accepted for 11 asphalt roads included in Task Order 2.
