Police Jury highway department workers are currently targeting areas where infrastructure has been impacted by high water and weather events. In the top photo, a crew is reshaping and repairing a drainage ditch on Drake Rd. just off Princeton Rd. Next, a washout near the head wall on the Caplis Sligo Rd. bridge spanning Red Chute Bayou is being repaired. Once the washout has been filled, a layer of rock will be added for stability.
