Good Neighbor Campaign

We, as members of the Bossier Parish Police Jury, are asking you to take part in our “Good Neighbor Campaign.”

People from all over the nation are looking at our great community and we want to put our best foot forward. One of the ways we can do this is to make sure the property in our community looks its best. Whether it is a business, a home or a vacant lot, we want it to sparkle and shine and we need your help. Join us to show the nation that “we are a people with pride.”

What can you do with your property:

1. Clean all trash around your house and yard
2. Mow your grass on a regular basis 
3. Move any cars you don’t use
4. Get rid of any old appliances that are outside your home

What the Bossier Parish Police Jury can do to help:

1. You can call our Highway Department for white goods pickup
   We can arrange to have washers, dryers and water heaters picked up 
2. The Bossier Parish Police Jury participates in a regional hazardous waste program. Please call Shreveport Green at (318) 219-1888 or visit www.shreveportgreen.org for dates available for the collection of old paint and other contaminants.
