On Thursday, May 27, the contractor will begin removing components of the old Linton Rd. bridge structure over Black Bayou Reservoir, according to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development.
While this work is underway, people are asked to avoid boating or walking near the project site. This request is to help ensure the safety of the community while work moves forward on the process of removing the existing bridge.

Linton Rd. is closed to traffic and detour signage is in place. Work on the project continues as weather permits.
