Beginning Sunday, Sept. 27, Swan Lake Rd. northbound at I-220 will be closed, according to the state Dept. of Transportation and Development. Road closure will begin at 8 p.m. and re-open on Monday, Sept. 28 at 5 a.m.
Work is anticipated to last approximately one calendar day, weather permitting. This project is associated with the widening of Swan Lake Road at the I-220 interchange.
Northbound Swan Lake Rd. motorists will be detoured to I-220 east to Shed Rd. and then back to I-220 west to Swan Lake Rd.
DOTD appreciates motorists’ patience and asks all please drive with caution through the construction site. Also, please be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
