Boil Advisory Issued for the Village Water System

Officials with the Bossier Parish Consolidated Waterworks/Sewerage District No.1 (CWSD #1) issued a boil advisory for customers on the Village Water System off HWY 614 and Stewart Road in Haughton. 

Officials reported a water main break earlier today, resulting in a temporary loss of water. The repairs on the line have been completed, and water samples were collected for testing.

This advisory will remain in effect until testing has been completed by the Louisiana Department of Health, Office of Public Health in Shreveport.
