Bossier Parish residents will have the opportunity to safely recycle old electronic devices free of charge during the Keep Bossier Beautiful (KBB) E-Waste recycling event scheduled Saturday, March 26.
Electronic devices may be delivered to the Bossier Sheriff’s Office Substation located at 2510 Viking Dr. in Bossier City from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday.
KBB is partnering with Capital Area Corporate Recycling Council (CACRC) to help receive old cell phones, tablets or computers that are no longer in use. Disposal is possible with CACRC, the only R2 certified electronics recycler in the state.
Capital Area Corporate Recycling Council is a nonprofit committed to electronic scrap reduction by providing recycled computers and equipment to schools, nonprofits, and low-income families through contributions of supporters.
