Police Jury highway department crews are targeting northern Bossier Parish with two road repair projects and one bridge replacement.
Work began Monday on replacement of a wood piling bridge on Fire Tower Rd. approximately three-tenths of a mile south of LA Hwy. 2. Replacement is expected to take about seven days. Until then, Fire Tower Rd. is closed and address ranges 100 –1400 Fire Tower Rd. can be accessed from LA Hwy. 160.
Crews are also finishing repairs to Bodcau Dam Rd., applying asphalt to a portion of the roadway on the levee. Bodcau Dam Rd. is open, but traffic is limited to one lane at the repair site.
And, just off LA Hwy. 157 south of Plain Dealing, repairs are being made to sections of Grey Circle. Work on those repairs should be completed this week.
