Bossier Parish Administrator Bill Altimus has been named to the state of Louisiana’s Broadband for Everyone in Louisiana (BEL) Commission. Altimus will be the Louisiana Police Jury Association’s representative on the panel.
Gov. John Bel Edwards appointed Altimus and eight others to the state-wide commission.
BEL serves as lead facilitator in collaborating with all sectors of the state, embracing all communities, to encourage broadband adoption and availability. The commission encourages use of all technologies that can deploy, operate and maintain high levels of broadband service.
