Parish engineers and supervisors from across the state were in Bossier City Wednesday and Thursday for the Fall meeting of the Louisiana Parish Engineers and Supervisors Association held at Margaritaville Resort.
LPESA is an arm of the Louisiana Police Jury Association.
Bossier Parish Police Jury President Glenn Benton welcomed the large crowd and praised the association for their willingness to come together and share ideas. Benton also serves as First Vice President of the Louisiana Police Jury Association.
On the first day's agenda was Bossier Parish Engineer Butch Ford who moderated a panel discussion on Permitting, Zoning, Codes and Development. Joining Ford in discussing parish issues were Kent Rogers, Northwest Louisiana Council of Governments, Executive Director, Carlotta Askew-Brown, Bossier City-Parish MPC, Senior Planner and Tyler Comeaux, PE, Burk-Kleinpeter, Inc, North LA Operations, Vice President.
