A free Estate Planning Workshop will be conducted Thursday, June 21 at the Bossier Parish History Center (adjacent to the Central Library), 2206 Beckett St. in Bossier City to discuss assets planning.
This workshop is hosted by the Bossier Parish Police Jury and Trailblazer RC&D.
No one wants to contemplate his or her mortality. And you may even feel that, in the context of death, questions about who gets your assets may seem trivial. But the fact is your loved ones will have to address those questions once you are gone.
Dayna Ryan, attorney with Theus, Grisham, Davis & Leigh, LLC, is the featured speaker at the workshop. Ryan is a well-respected, experienced attorney who specializes in estate planning.
She will discuss topics such as understanding the need for a will, assigning a healthcare power of attorney, trusts and much more. This workshop is intended to be an educational opportunity and cannot be construed as legal advice.
Workshop session begins at 6 p.m. and concludes at 8 p.m. To pre-register or for more information on the workshop, call Trailblazer RC&D at (318) 255-3554 and leave your name and contact information plus the name of the workshop. Also, email ceo@trailblazer.org, or call (318) 243-9194 for more information.
Partners and sponsors include ENABLE Midstream Partners; Mudd & Holland Consulting Foresters, LLC; Bossier Parish Police Jury; Bienville Parish Police Jury; USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service; and Trailblazer RC&D.
