Competition 3 of the 2017-18 Regional Autonomous Robotics Circuit (RARC) will be held Saturday, April 28, at the Bossier Civic Center, featuring elementary, middle and high school teams from northwest Louisiana and Arkansas.

Opening ceremonies are scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. for elementary division teams with the awards ceremony set for 11:30. Middle and high school divisions will conduct opening ceremonies at 12:30 and awards will be presented at 3:40.

RARC competitions are sponsored by the Cyber Innovation Center’s National Integrated Cyber Education Research Center, the city of Bossier City, Bossier Parish schools and Caddo Parish schools.

Theme of this year’s competition is Small Wonders, Big Possibilities. Teams will explore concepts like forensics and robotics while participating in challenges on a competition mat designed to look like a laboratory.

Trophies will be awarded to the top three teams in each division. Grand champion technology awards will be presented to the top three schools in each division.
