Early voting for the Nov. 3 general election begins Friday, Oct. 16 will continue through Tuesday, Oct. 27, according to Bossier Parish Registrar of Voters Stephanie Agee. Voting hours will be from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. each day except Sundays.

R.S. 29:727, the President of the Bossier Parish Police Jury has hereby declared a State of Emergency due to the statewide public health emergency issued by Governor John Bel Edwards, with the most recent being Proclamation Number 110 JBE 2020 issued on August 26, 2020, supplementing the declaration of emergency in Proclamation Number 101 JBE 2020, and the mitigation measures therein; Therefore, Proclamation Number 110 JBE 2020 shall remain in full force and effect until it expires on Friday, September 11, 2020, unless extended, in response to the threat posed by COVID-19.
