Applications are now being accepted for the position of Constable in Bossier Parish District 6, according to Parish Administrator Bill Altimus.

High speed broad band availability to areas of Bossier Parish which currently are not served could be a matter for study for the parish Police Jury in the near future.

Police Jury Meeting Notice - Limited Seating (05/18/2020)
The Bossier Parish Police Jury will follow the Governor’s directive not to hold public gatherings which exceed 25 percent (25%) of the total occupancy as determined by the State Fire Marshall, counting both the number of employees and the number of members of the public present in the meeting room at one time.

Parks, Libraries and More Re-opening (05/15/2020)
Divisions of the Bossier Parish Police Jury including the highway department, sanitation department and others critical to the operation of parish public services have been safely performing essential duties during the COVID crisis.

Courthouse Opens Monday (05/15/2020)
Doors to the Bossier Parish Courthouse will be open to the public Monday, May 18 at 8 a.m., and precautions will be in place that will follow Gov. John Bel Edwards’ mandates due to concerns over COVOD 19.
